Pickled Cabbage with Meat Hot Pot Two Days in a Row
I’d been craving suancai baicai hot pot (pickled cabbage with meat hot pot) out of nowhere recently, so when I made plans for my monthly get-together with friends on Sunday, we decided to go have some.
Then, on Saturday, I made a last-minute trip to Taichung to attend a friend’s marriage registration. Afterward, we went to get lunch, and a friend found a well-reviewed suancai baicai hot pot place nearby.
I couldn’t help but laugh when my friend suggested having suancai baicai hot pot. Of all the things we could eat, it’s not something we’d normally choose, and now I was somehow going to have it two days in a row.
